2. What data we collect

We only collect data that helps us respond to you or run the site. This may include:

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, organisation.
  • Message content: anything you send via our contact form or email.
  • Technical/usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and similar information, collected via our hosting/security setup (Cloudflare) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics).

We do not intentionally collect special category data (e.g. health, ethnicity, political views) and ask that you don’t send it to us.

3. How we collect your data

We collect data in the following ways:

  • Directly from you: when you fill in the contact form, email us or call us.
  • Automatically: through our website platform, Cloudflare and analytics (Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics) to keep the site secure and understand how it’s used.

4. How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or request for a call.
  • Provide you with information about our services when you’ve asked for it.
  • Operate, protect and improve our website (including analytics and security).
  • Comply with legal or regulatory requirements.

Our usual lawful basis is legitimate interests (we need to respond to you and run our business). Where we rely on cookies/analytics that are not essential, we do so on the basis of your consent.

We do not currently run an email newsletter or marketing list.

5. Third-party services we use

We use a small number of trusted service providers to host, protect and deliver the site, and to send enquiry emails. These providers only process your data on our instructions and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes.

  • Cloudflare: for hosting, performance, security and traffic routing. This may involve processing of IP addresses and request data.
  • Google Analytics: to understand how visitors use the site. Google may process data outside the UK / EU.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics: privacy-friendly analytics to understand site usage.
  • Resend: (or an equivalent email service) to process and send enquiry emails submitted through our contact form.

We only share what’s necessary for them to provide their service to us.

6. Cookies and tracking

Our site may use cookies or similar technologies to make the website work, improve performance, or understand how people use it. You will see a cookie/consent banner when you first visit where you can accept, reject or manage your choices.

Essential cookies are used to make the site function (e.g. security, routing). Non-essential cookies — such as Google Analytics — will only run if you accept them.

7. International transfers

Some of our service providers (for example Google, Resend, and sometimes Cloudflare) may process data on servers located outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or the provider’s own compliance framework to help protect your data.

8. How long we keep your data

We keep contact/enquiry data for around 3 months so we can follow up properly and have some context for future conversations. If we start working together, we may keep relevant records for longer to meet legal, contractual or accounting requirements.

If you’d like us to delete your enquiry sooner, just ask — see section 9.

9. Your rights (UK GDPR)

Because we’re in the UK, you have rights over your personal data. You can:

  • Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that’s wrong or out of date.
  • Ask us to delete your data (where we don’t have a legal reason to keep it).
  • Object to or restrict certain types of processing.

To exercise these rights, email us at hello@reignites.co.uk .

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data: https://ico.org.uk .

10. How we protect your data

We use reputable hosting and email providers, keep software up to date, and limit access to personal data to only those who need it. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services, providers or the law. If the changes are significant, we’ll highlight them on this page.
